Rich History and Future Development
Located at 1563 NW 110th Street, Groveport Resort is proudly situated at the “Gateway to Grove.” The area around Wolf Creek is known for its exceptional bass fishing, making it a favored spot among local anglers.
Purchased in 2021, the resort underwent extensive renovations to enhance its facilities while preserving its historical significance. The original structure was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and once housed the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA). We took great care in gutting the building down to the studs, breathing new life into this historic site while retaining its charm.
Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for the future of Groveport Resort. An on-site swimming pool and various landscaping projects are currently in the works, as well as the addition of a new 10-slip dock to accommodate our guests’ boating needs. Join us for an unforgettable day at Camp Bandage – Grand Lake, an annual safety camp and kids’ fun fair dedicated to promoting safety awareness through engaging educational activities!
Since its inception in 2017, Camp Bandage has taken place at the scenic Grand Lake RV Resort on the beautiful Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees. This free outdoor event is designed to provide essential safety, health, and first aid training for children of all ages, fostering a sense of awareness and responsibility among young participants.

It offers an invaluable opportunity to learn about the procedures and challenges faced by these brave individuals in emergency situations.
