Honey Creek Landing Marina has been Grand Lake’s favorite nautical hub for over 15 years. A full service marina, Honey Creek has over 100 covered slips, ranging from 30 to 60 feet, available for either annual or overnight rentals. We have a pump-out station, 24-hour fueling site with diesel and no-ethanol gas, newly restocked ship store featuring nautical themed items and lake accessories, lounge and renovated bathhouse, and a convenience store. We also offer full service boat repair and sales. We take immense pride in being a pillar of the community, and are dedicated to providing our customers with a safe and enjoyable Grand Lake experience. Brian and Lessie Dickson are the proud and excited new owners of Honey Creek Landing Marina. After boating on Grand Lake for over 20 years, the Dicksons relocated from their home in Wichita, KS, to be full-time Grand Lakers and residents of Grove. They bring with them their daughter Lily, and two dogs. Brian is an avid entrepreneur and Lessie is a successful business Operations Manager. Combining their unique talents and passion for the lake lifestyle, they are immensely looking forward to making new connections in the area and bringing many improvements to the property. The Dicksons have completely renovated the marina to bring it up to their standards. 98% of the dock was completely redone, and a 24-hour fueling station has been installed. There’s a brand new convenience store, fully stocked ship store, a thoroughly renovated bathhouse and lounge, and many more exciting changes to come. Grand Lake Community Ministry AKA The Blue House
Founded: 1985 Location: 268 West Broadway Avenue, Langley, OK Welcome to the Grand Lake Community Ministry (G.L.C.M.), a dedicated lay organization established in 1985 with the purpose of providing temporary assistance to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to offer help in Christian love, ensuring that assistance is given without any strings attached. In addition to material support, we provide an opportunity for individuals to receive spiritual guidance from ministers of participating churches. Services Offered G.L.C.M. extends its aid through the Blue House, where community members can access various resources: Clothing Assistance: We provide clothing for individuals of all ages, including special items such as layettes for newborns, along with diapers when supplies permit. Food Pantry: Our food pantry is open from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Tuesdays and Fridays, where qualifying families receive two bags of both non-perishable and perishable food. Families with more than four members may receive additional items based on their size. Utility Assistance: For those who meet income qualifications, we offer assistance with utility bills. Please note that we do not cover deposits or reconnect fees, and we are currently unable to assist with rent, house payments, telephone services, or fuel. Current Needs We rely on the generosity of our community to keep our services running. We are currently in need of donations, including: For the Food Pantry: Ramen noodles Jelly (any kind) Crackers Peanut butter Canned meats Canned vegetables and fruits Toilet paper For Clothing and Household Supplies: Gently used infant and children's clothing Men's pants (any size) Bed linens and blankets Pots and pans Flatware Towels and washcloths Our Volunteers The Grand Lake Community Ministry is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers who generously donate their time and resources.
