Honey Creek Landing Marina
Honey Creek Landing Marina has been Grand Lake’s favorite nautical hub for over 15 years. A full service marina, Honey Creek has over 100 covered slips, ranging from 30 to 60 feet, available for either annual or overnight rentals. We have a pump-out station, 24-hour fueling site with diesel and no-ethanol gas, newly restocked ship store featuring nautical themed items and lake accessories, lounge and renovated bathhouse, and a convenience store. We also offer full service boat repair and sales.
We take immense pride in being a pillar of the community, and are dedicated to providing our customers with a safe and enjoyable Grand Lake experience.
Brian and Lessie Dickson are the proud and excited new owners of Honey Creek Landing Marina. After boating on Grand Lake for over 20 years, the Dicksons relocated from their home in Wichita, KS, to be full-time Grand Lakers and residents of Grove. They bring with them their daughter Lily, and two dogs.
Brian is an avid entrepreneur and Lessie is a successful business Operations Manager. Combining their unique talents and passion for the lake lifestyle, they are immensely looking forward to making new connections in the area and bringing many improvements to the property.
The Dicksons have completely renovated the marina to bring it up to their standards. 98% of the dock was completely redone, and a 24-hour fueling station has been installed. There’s a brand new convenience store, fully stocked ship store, a thoroughly renovated bathhouse and lounge, and many more exciting changes to come.

Pastor Kevin is our lead pastor, known for his engaging teaching style that blends contemporary and traditional approaches, often infused with humor to create a relatable experience. He is deeply passionate about making the Word of God relevant to 21st-century living, ensuring that the teachings resonate with the diverse needs of our congregation. Kevin and Shannon are proud parents of four children: Katie (27), Seth (23), Grady (18), and Olivia (16).
Shannon Baker is not only a devoted pastor's wife but also an ordained pastor with Foursquare. With over 30 years in full-time ministry, she cherishes her role in supporting her husband and nurturing the congregation. Shannon has a passion for cooking, reading, decorating, and organizing. She also enjoys mentoring women through The Home Experience, a program designed to enrich lives and build community connections. Together, the Bakers embrace the joys and challenges of raising their family in a rural community, fostering a sense of belonging for everyone they meet.

With a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a growing eye for the artistic elements of life, I specialize in various types of photography that highlight the natural beauty of the world and the personalities of those within it.
My Journey: From Adventure to Art
Throughout my younger years, I immersed myself in outdoor activities such as off-road motorcycling, hang gliding, and boating on California’s Monterey Bay. Initially, I saw myself as an adventurer, someone focused on the thrill of the outdoors, rather than an artist. However, as I grew older, I started noticing the light, shapes, and patterns that others around me seemed to overlook. This new awareness led me to discover a passion for photography that I never anticipated.
When I moved to Oklahoma and settled on the shores of Grand Lake, I gained the perfect environment for my newfound passion. With 60 miles of pristine freshwater at my doorstep, I regularly took my camera outdoors, capturing nature and wildlife in its endless variety. From that point on, nature and wildlife photography became my calling.
Expanding My Lens: People, Homes, and Commercial Photography
As I honed my skills, I also discovered the joy of capturing the essence of people. My background in counseling gave me a unique perspective on understanding personalities, allowing me to capture individuals in authentic, expressive ways. This skill set naturally evolved into capturing the beauty of homes and businesses through architectural and real estate photography.
In addition to personal portraits and properties, I began to explore telling compelling stories through photos. One of my most beloved projects was The Secret Life of the Grand Lake Pelican, which gained popularity as a photo book. This led to the creation of another book, Jerry Ann’s Place, along with various photo collections paired with music and transitions, creating video-like productions that have been featured on local and national television.
