Purchased in 2021, the resort underwent extensive renovations to enhance its facilities while preserving its historical significance. The original structure was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and once housed the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA). We took great care in gutting the building down to the studs, breathing new life into this historic site while retaining its charm.
Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for the future of Groveport Resort. An on-site swimming pool and various landscaping projects are currently in the works, as well as the addition of a new 10-slip dock to accommodate our guests’ boating needs. Honey Creek Landing Marina
Honey Creek Landing Marina has been Grand Lake’s favorite nautical hub for over 15 years. A full service marina, Honey Creek has over 100 covered slips, ranging from 30 to 60 feet, available for either annual or overnight rentals. We have a pump-out station, 24-hour fueling site with diesel and no-ethanol gas, newly restocked ship store featuring nautical themed items and lake accessories, lounge and renovated bathhouse, and a convenience store. We also offer full service boat repair and sales.
We take immense pride in being a pillar of the community, and are dedicated to providing our customers with a safe and enjoyable Grand Lake experience.
Brian and Lessie Dickson are the proud and excited new owners of Honey Creek Landing Marina. After boating on Grand Lake for over 20 years, the Dicksons relocated from their home in Wichita, KS, to be full-time Grand Lakers and residents of Grove. They bring with them their daughter Lily, and two dogs.
